We are especially pleased and proud that this publication was prepared under the editorship of Viktor Shevchuk, Doctor of Law, Professor, and Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, who was elected Chairman of the Scientific and Expert Council of the Association at the Congress of Polygraph Examiners on April 26, 2025.

The textbook thoroughly covers all issues related to classical, traditional, and innovative forensic science.
This is the first textbook on forensic science that pays special attention to the consideration of forensic polygraphology as a modern applied field.

The relevant section of the textbook described the theoretical and legal principles of using the polygraph in criminal proceedings, the organizational and methodological issues of conducting polygraph research, the procedure for ordering a forensic psychological examination using the polygraph, and how to evaluate its results.
